Training for ADHD Coaches

ADHD coaches are trained at an accredited coaching academy. Then, to become a qualified ADHD coach, the coach must be formally educated and trained in a viable ADHD academy and then work along with a mentor, pro bono for one year. He or she must be able to understand, identify and skillfully work with the many specific traits of ADHD. Traditionally, a skilled coach is one who can listen beyond what is said and help clients compassionately confront and overcome their challenges, realize their potential and own who they are with confidence. Coaching has formally been around for over half a century and is recognized as the one of the most successful, rewarding and empowering learning experiences especially for those with ADHD.
